City Train Jurček
A drive with the tourist train Jurček is a good way to have a quick look at the centre of Maribor. You can choose a ride with or without a tour guide, or even hire the whole train for a special occasion. They also offer special package tours, mostly for groups, that include a visit to the city aquarium and terrarium or one of the city museums or churches. Information on different rides here.
Guided Tours of the Vinag Wine Cellar
The Vinag Wine Cellar is one of the biggest traditional tunnel wine cellars in Central Europe. Located beneath the city centre, this cellar measures 15,000 square metres. Guided tours and wine tastings are organised by TIC (Tourist Information Centre) Maribor. You can also do a tour on your own with the help of a map with short descriptions.
Rajzefiber—Festival of Walks
Every year, an agency called Rajzefiber organises a Festival of Walks and offers walks that show the participants the hidden parts of Maribor and share the forgotten stories of our town with them. Every walk has a certain thematic focus. The last festival offered over 30 walks to pick from.
Tasting Maribor Food Tours
Everybody loves good food, and culinary tours are an excellent way of combining sightseeing with all those little breaks that you'd take to rest your feet anyway. Dravska Vila River Trip
Sailing with Dravska vila offers a memorable romance on the quiet surface of the Drava and refreshments in the boat’s lovely café. A minimum of 15 passengers are needed for a trip. Groups can also hire Dravska vila for celebrations, catering, business events etc. More information here.

TIC Maribor (Tourist Information Centre Maribor) organises a variety of different guided tours, both for groups and individuals. They range from classical guided tours through the centre of the town to more thematically coloured tours, such as a tour with Maribor rafters or a tour that follows the footsteps of the famous Slovenian General Maister. Big Guy's Wine Tour
This tour is a great idea for wine lovers. Choose between tours that last half a day or the whole day or tours with a specific thematic focus and get to know the wines of the Štajerska region. More information here.
